One of the most fascinating things that we did in Bali was to travel between two islands on a scooter.

We experienced this at the picturesque Nusa islands, located southeast of Bali, Indonesia. Nusa islands are a group of three islands, made up of Lembongan, Ceningan, and Penida. While Ceningan is the smallest of the lot, Penida is the largest. All three Nusa islands are situated next to one another. Visiting these islands in Bali should definitely be on your list as they offer endless breathtaking sights but more importantly, it is far away from the hustle and bustle of mainland Bali.

While people mostly choose to visit only Penida, we visited all three, and exploring Lembongan and Ceningan was more fun for us.

Yellow Bridge is a suspension bridge that connects the two islands, Ceningan and Lembongan, separated by the sea. Since its collapse in December 2016, the Yellow Bridge, also called the ‘Bridge of Love’ was rebuilt. Now it features a sturdier and safer design, meaning people can cross the bridge on two-wheelers as well, apart from on bicycles or on foot.

There was a small regret though: We couldn’t see the Yellow Bridge in the evening. We have heard that it is beautifully lit after sunset!
